Race resume: 2001, District Championships, Track:

  • 1st: Masters 30-35 3km individual
  • 2nd: 1km time trial
  • 2nd: 20km points race
  • 2nd: team pursuit
Season-long track competitions:
  • 1st: Wednesday night racing (217 pts)
  • 2nd: Saturday afternoon racing
Road: 2nd: Burlingame Criterium

Memorable Milestones: Sep 4th 1994 (Qualifying for 1994 Asian Championship in 4km IP): Plan on running the Graph for 5:04:00 Min - 12 laps of the Velodrome. 2nd lap 1 sec faster than set pace and the coach started Yelling to slow down... every lap going faster than what was set and the last 2 laps even more faster... Finished with a time of 4:56:86 sec. My aim for clocking less than 5 min was over since then just riding without aim.

Who is your cycling icon and why: O'Bree, Bordman and Alexy Gerawal.

Why I started cycling: My room mate was a cyclist I was a swimmer and one day he took me to a cycling race. Gave me his bike and asked me to ride 4KM IP and I beat him...

Why I am still riding: I love the adventure and the view of the beautiful countryside. Love to exert my body.

Why I still Race: I love to learn more and test my body in different situations. And love the enthusiasm of a win. Love the kind of Pain in legs after a good race or ride.

Favorite Ride: Coming down the hill...(hahahaha). Any ride without a hill, love the smooth ride on Canada Rd (west bay).

Nemesis Ride: Any Mt. Rides.

My Race Bikes:

  • Specialized carbon fiber Second hand
  • Bianchi Track Bike
  • Still looking for a Mt bike for my size

My worst bike: Alan (light but very flexible)

Training Philosophy: It is easy to train hard but hard to train easy.

Style: Smoothness is the Key and never let you opponent Know that you are tired. Train on you training rides and Compete in the Competitions.

Short Term Goals: Improve my sprint and reduce my weight.

Long Term Goals: Ride for fun and help every one who needs. Love to be in good shape.
