Laurent Jalabert because of his excellent all-round ability.
Why I started cycling:
Got the bug after watching CBS Tour de France coverage in the early 80's.

For the sheer enjoyment and exhilaration.

For the sheer exhilaration and enjoyment.
Favorite Ride:
For training, the Niles Cyn-Calaveras-Felter loop.
Nemesis Ride:
The climb up little known Welch Creek Rd. off of Calaveras. Feels like Country Club Rd. but goes on and on for two relentless miles. Did it twice, haven't returned since.
