Memorable Milestones:
watching Greg LeMond win the Tour in his aero helmet, reshaping the sport; winning lots of Track Omniums in 2003 when I didn't think I would even be competitive.
Who is your cycling icon and why:
Greg LeMond - there are several American Cycling heroes, but none changed the sport forever as dramatically as LeMond.
Why I started cycling:
I had a bike in high-school that was too short for me, but I rode it all over town anyway. Just loved to ride all the time.
Why I am still riding:
I get to see many areas of the Bay I would never see in a car (such as Tunitas Creek).
Why I still Race:
It's a great sport. Lots of speed, adrenaline, styles of races... did I mention adrenaline?
Favorite Ride:
Calaveras on a nice day.
Nemesis Ride:
Tunitas Creek Loop.
My Race Bikes:
Cannondale R200 with RSX; Fuji Track Pro.
My worst bike:
No comment... they're all I've got to race on.
Training Philosophy:
Have a plan, have fun, and don't forget to rest.
Style:
Pedal really, really fast... until everything starts to go white and blank, then recover and see how you did.

District Championship 1st place Match Sprint.
Long Term Goals:
Race injury free for my whole life...
