Result: Top ten

What a "GREAT" Day for racing!! Andy and I drove down to Santa Cruz fair grounds in Watsonville today, for the #2 race in the Surf City Cyclocross series. Excellent turnout today. The boys from Edenbicycle shop were out today too, for the fun! Heh-heh......!! Smile!

The course was great! It was approximately 1-1/2 miles long with all kinds of goodies! Soft dirt, run ups, roots, pavement, and of course hurdles. OUCH!! Smile! Page from Eden had mechanical problems early in the race, but finished 21th. place, not last!! He even got passed by a clown on a bike. That's another story! Smile!

Andy did good with a 16th. place finished. He was doing some different techniques, but most of all having a great time. Thank you Andy for driving! For myself, I was trying to chase down Brendon, another one of the Eden boys. I never caught him, but our distance between each other never really changed either. I thought for sure he would burn out, but didn't. Brendon pulled of a 5th place. Excellent job!

Me I got 8th. place, but very happy with my efforts. I'm actually looking forward to the rain and cooler weather. My allergies are killing me racing in that grass/horse shi.......!! Smile! See you all later.
