Result: Pack-filler

I was our only representative there on a really nice evening for racing. I was somewhat disappointed that there was no "long" race this evening as the final events for the A's was a Keirin tournament.

I was packfiller, but it was still good to be there racing. First up was a short scratch race, followed by the longest event of the evening, a 30-lap points race. I valliently attempted to bridge up to a break at one stage, but was caught out by the break sprinting for points - otherwise I think I would have got them. I didn't make it, and could only mix it with the stragglers as the bunch came through. I tried.

Third was a miss and out, where I got in a bad position in the roll-out and that was that. Finally for me was a heat in the Keirin, only my second ever Keirin race. It was fun, but I have a lot to learn about Keirin racing.
