What Carl saw:
Category: M35+ 4/5
Result: 4th
The Fremont Freewheelers showed there colors at the Modesto Crits. this weekend.
On Sunday I did the Modesto Crit (in Salida) also in +35 4/5 race and took 4th place after chasing a lead group of 4 riders for a half lap with most of it bucking a 15 to 20 mph headwind and taking away the forth spot from a fading rider.
Bob again raced the Cat 3 race and I believe got at 4th and was going to do a second race of +30 (don't know the outcome).
It was a good weekend of racing and could have been better with a few team mates because the prizes were there for the taking with a little coordination.

Way to go Carl!
Well, Biker Bob is Back!!!! And so is his sprint, 5th on sat. and 3rd on
sun. A good warm up for the important race on the 24th. It was nice having
a witness, thanks Carl.
