Result: Back of pack
Thanks are due to Matt I. who tried to use my pre-reg in the 4's and transferred me to the 3's. The original plan was for us both to ride the 4's, but with the field full, Matt would have a hard time registering on the day, hence the attempt to use my pre-reg. Unfortunately, Matt didn't get to ride, but he was there to watch me race.
This was a first for me in 2 respects: first time doing the Giro and my first 3's race. It was fast and hard - it is a good, fun course. I hung on and finished at the back of the bunch. A very nice workout and a definite step up from the 4's. It is going to be fun racing in the 3's.
