I rode this well, except where it mattered. I need to improve my nous at the finale.

I proved that I can get into a good position in the build up to the sprint. But I made a mistake and allowed myself to get trapped behind one of the lead-out guys and that was it. I sat up, not wanting to risk life and limb in the hotly contested sprint for 25th place.

As Ziggy put it afterwards, if you are taking it easy at that stage, you are going too slowly. How true. I was sitting in about 6th wheel and just didn't put in the effort to move up when I felt us slow a little. I was working hard, close to being maxed out at the time, and was happy for the brief rest. Mistake.
