I did two races, the Masters 35+ 3/4 and the E3, both with Mr. Brockie as company
Masters 35+ 3/4, field size about 75
The first race was very fast, I think I recorded a 27.2 mph average speed. However, the course is a fast one, so it was easy to maintain. A few moments of panic mid race with a clash of bars, but not much else to report. I tried to stay closer to the front (practice what I preach) and this was accomplished much of the time. The race ended in a bunch gallop and I came in about 30th out of a 80 rider field.

Second race was the E3. This felt faster but was actually a slower average speed (26.6).
I was not as proficient as staying near the front, whereas RB was riding a much better race, and even stuck his nose in the wind for a short while. The cornering was not so smooth and RB had an underpants moment at turn 2.
Another field sprint, I think, and I rolled in towards the back of the race.
