  • Fixed Gear Ride

    The Road and Track racing season is over. Get those fixed gear bikes and single speeds out, dusted off and chain lubed, because the FIXED GEAR/SINGLE SPEED ride is happening! If you don't have a fixed gear, join us for a ride to find out more about the track and riding a fixed gear!

    • When: Sundays, rain or shine
    • Time: 10:00am (so you can sleep in!!!)
    • Where: Peet’s Coffee in Los Altos...State Street (where the best offee is)
    • Route: Mainly flat with rollers (30-45 miles)

    Gearing: recommended gearing is 60" to 66". Bigger than 66" makes the hills too tough. Smaller than 60" only recommended if you spin really well. Be sure to put at least one brake on the bike. Fenders are recommended if road is wet.

  • Sunday LSD Ride

    Meet: Monterey Doubletree Plaza

    Meets at the Monterey Doubletree Plaza at 8:00 a.m. Ride is organized as training for century riders but all riders are welcomed. Distance, not racing, is the emphasis. Ride length varies from 40 - 80 miles. Comfortable pace, terrain varies. Runs year-round.

    Juniors only. Ride duration is normally 3-4 hours over varying terrain. Coaches and Mentors are welcome, parents can tag along at the back.

  • Unofficial Berkeley Ride

    A mixed group will ride between 30-40 miles. The pace varies.

  • Santa Cruz area Sunday Morning Ride
    Day: Sunday
    Time: 09:30 AM
    Meet: Bay View Hotel (entrace to Nisense Marks State Park off the State Park Highway 1 exit)

    Starts at 9:30 a.m. at the Bay View Hotel (entrace to Nisense Marks State Park off the State Park Highway 1 exit). Fast and flat out to Aromas and back with a rotating paceline once it streamlines out. 3-4 women generally show up and a number of track riders. Sprints for city signs (Aromas, Pajaro, etc) string it out, but the pace slows down occasionally (in Pajaro) allowing for regrouping. Runs year-round. Approx. 40 miles starting from Aptos.
